I can now cross off another kitchen project from my to-do list ….
My Rustic Spice Rack!!!
I love the way my kitchen is coming along! I have soooo many more projects to work on, but I’m LOVING the end results of the kitchen after every project we complete.
We did not lose cupboard space when we did the transformation. We’ve always kept most of our large kitchen items in another room. But since we are redoing every room in our home, I’m trying to get all of the items into the kitchen. So this rustic spice rack is much needed. Plus, we’re making use of the wasted space … again!
If you didn’t see our rustic cookbook shelf project, you can check that out here.
We are going to be adding another project in the kitchen where we can grow our own herbs, so these spice jars are the perfect size.
I love that the covers can be easily removed, plus you can flip the top as well. You can find these in the canning section at Menards if you’re interested in also using this style of jar for your spices.
The rustic spice rack is made from pallets and stained with the same clear coat as our pallet backsplash.
Here is a before photo of the kitchen area ….
The latest look with the addition of the rustic spice rack:
I just have one more addiction to the spice rack coming up. (I’ll post that when it’s done). But for now … it’s 99% complete!
Now onto the next project …..
